Ramp/Jet · Operations for industrial companies

Quoting that doesn't wait on you.

One process at a time, out of one person's head, written down and running so anyone can pick it up. Scoped and priced before we start, on what you already use.

Why this exists
Everyone knows the price. One person can produce it.

The pricing logic is real and it works — it's just stored in one person's head, with a spreadsheet next to it acting as a memory aid rather than a system. So quoting is fast when they're there and stops when they're not.

We don't try to replace that judgement. We write it down, put it somewhere the team can run it, and leave the hard calls with the person who should be making them.

The Process

One process. Four operations.

Op 10

Scope

Week 1

We sit with whoever does the work today and write down what actually happens, including the exceptions. Ends in a fixed price. Nothing gets built before this.

Op 20

Build

Weeks 2–4

We build it against what you already use — QuickBooks, the spreadsheet, the shared drive — so nobody relearns their job to use it.

Op 30

Hand off

Week 4

Your team runs it with us watching, not the other way round. Written down, so it survives the person who learned it first.

Op 40

Review

Quarterly

We look at what it changed and name the next process worth doing. Priced before it starts, same as this one.

The ongoing mechanism

The quarterly ops review.

Every quarter we look at what the last project actually changed and name the next thing worth fixing — with a price, before anyone commits.

This is the part that turns Run from a project into something that keeps paying. Most owners already know what the next thing is; they've just never had it costed.

RunOperations

Every project is priced after scoping and before building, so the number you hear is the number you pay. If scoping shows it isn't worth doing, we say so and you owe nothing further.

Most owners start with quoting because it's the one costing them the most. It doesn't have to be.

Straight answers

What people ask on the call.

Is this an ERP?

No. We stop where yours starts — or where QuickBooks and the whiteboard start, if that's what you run the shop on. We connect to it and hand off clean.

Will my people have to learn new software?

As little as we can manage. We build against what's already on their screens. If something genuinely new is needed we'll say so during scoping, before you've spent anything.

What if the process is in one person's head and they don't want to give it up?

Common, and usually not obstruction — it's the part of the job that makes them necessary. We write it down with them, not around them, and the judgement stays theirs. What changes is that a Tuesday off doesn't stop quoting.

Who owns what you build?

You do. Source, data, logins, documentation. If you want to take it elsewhere we hand it over and help you move it.

What's the smallest thing you'd do?

One process, one price. If the smallest useful version is $3,500 and a fortnight, that's what we'll scope — we'd rather do one thing that sticks than four that don't.
